Catherine Bird leads Australia’s equine
natural health industry from her base in Sydney. . Her experience working with horses goes back more than a
decade from newborn thoroughbred foals and following them through
all stages of racing, Olympic level competitors, NSW Mounted Police,
mounts selected by various countries at the Sydney Paralympic Games
2000, and horses special to their owners. You will also find her
working with dogs and maintaining a loyal clientele of humans.
Catherine is the author of Horse Scents (Making Sense with Your
Horse Using Aromatherapy), sorry out of print. Her current book, A
Healthy Horse the Natural Way has been reprinted by New Holland
Publishers and available in Australia, New Zealand and the United
Kingdom, as well as through Lyons Press in the United States.
Catherine also provides the Equine Aromatherapy Correspondence
Course which boasts graduates on all continents. |

She has worked and studied both in Australia and in the United
States with some of the world's foremost equine therapists. She
maintains contact with many leading therapists throughout the
world so that information can be exchanged to enhance the global
desire to further the healing of all animals, and support owners
in their quest for knowledge and understanding.
Catherine services most areas in the Greater Sydney area and will travel further for a minimum number of
horses, or if traveling expenses are compensated, including other
states or countries. Catherine has also trained at The Spiritual
Healing School in spiritual kinesiology, an effective modality for
gaining insights into a situation by distance. |
Catherine offers clients a consultation
service assisting in their choice of herbal remedies,
biochemical support and utilizing kinesiology processes in a
program designed for each horse. This includes the availability
of herbal preparations and kinesiology insights to assist in the
further understanding of your horse's individual needs.
